general yoga classes
General Class aimed at those who have finished the beginner course. This is a general class to suit most levels and the classes will be adapted to the level and requirement of the participants.
introduction yoga course
This is a basic foundation course which teaches you everything you need to know about yoga in order for you to feel confident in joining a general class. This is an alignment style class (based on the Iyengar method). Also perfect for those starting again after a little “life break” from yoga!
morning yoga classes
Morning is an excellent time to practice yoga – it prepares you energetically for the day ahead and is a very different practise to an evening yoga session. This time slot is designed for those who work from home, or who have just dropped the children off at school, or who have a little space in their day to spend some time nurturing themselves.
private one to one yoga classes
Ruth is very happy to take on one, two or three students in a private class, at a convenient time that suits you. The classes can be arranged your home, depending on your situation. This is a great opportunity to develop a self practice which is tailored made for you, the original way yoga was taught in India!
Yin yoga is a meditative and very inward yoga practise – we hold the poses for anything from 2 to 5 minutes, and feel into the stretch, releasing the muscles with each breath. The journey of the release is what yin is all about, and the process of letting go both in the mind and in the physical body.
